Command Post Windsok™

The Command Post Windsok assists with mass casualty incidents, disaster preparedness, and search and rescue operations by immediately distinguishing the command center. Windsoks are lightweight, ultra-portable, very quick to assemble and user friendly.

Permanent Installation

We manufacture a special brass fitting that allows you to make a permanent installation for your Windsok from galvanized pipe and couplers readily available from your local hardware store. Instructions are included with the fitting. Our special fitting is user friendly.

Portable Windsok™ Kit

All portable Windsok™ kits come complete with a 3 - section aluminium pole, steel stakes, guy lines, tensioners, stuff sacks and sok.

Portable Setup

For fast and easy assembly, remove the poles from the stuff sack and firmly plant the bottom section into the ground. Attach the guy lines and push the stakes into the ground. Adjust the tensioners until the pole is vertical. Remove your Windsok from its stuff sack. Plug the bungee-mounted stiffener strut into its mounting block or simply give the sok a shake allowing it to pop into place. Place the lower loop around the top pole section and place bearing block onto the pivot pin. Install the safety pin. Place the top pole section into the middle and plug that into the bottom section.
