25th June 2007
Well, we may have been lucky with the weather at AeroExpo but last weekend at Hucknall was a mixed bag! The thunderstorms predicted for Saturday never happened - but of course the public had already been put off and were not there in huge numbers, which was a shame as we were treated to the spectacle of the BBMF in the sun. However, Sunday started grey and the only arrival by air was Richard Sear in his Escapade G-CDSK. He then had to sit for 3 hours waiting for a gap in the rain long enough for him to fly out. Once he left, the heavens opened again and stayed open end of rally! We were due to travel down tonight and set up for this weekends Dunkeswell rally but apparently weather has stopped play there today and probably tomorrow but we are hopeful that Sunday will be better and allow some flying!
6th June 2007
This weekend is AeroExpo 2007 at Wycombe Air Park - see you there? We'll be braving the elements outside near the PFA homebuilders tent!
Charlie Fox is off competing in the Round Britain Air Race so we will have a part-built with us, the soon-to-be Group A version of the Escapade.
Looking forward to seeing you there...
